A Visit to Government Secondary School, Gboko
On the same day that the Francisca Mlumun Ordega Foundation (FMOF) visited the primary school where the President and Founder of the Foundation, Francisca Ordega obtained her certificate of primary education, the Foundation also visited Government Secondary School, Gboko where Francisca received her post-primary education.
It is striking to note that it was while as a Secondary student of GSS Gboko that Francisca started developing her football career. Through resilience, dedication and focus she honed and refined her football talent and skills to become a soccer amazon to reckon with on the world stage.
The visit to the school by Francisca Ordega was like a home coming. There she met and interacted with some of the teachers that taught her while as a student of the school. To both the staff and students of the institution, she was seen as a great ambassador of the school who is doing the school proud in the area of female soccer on the international scene.
To assist the students in studies, on behalf of the FMOF, Francisca Ordega donated many copies of the Advanced Leaners Dictionary, exercise books and soccer balls as a way of encouraging and supporting soccer in the school.
